This is me
I studied one degree and two master's degrees.
Partly because it was the right thing to do.
And yet, I loved every subject, every stage of learning.
I worked as a high school teacher for five years, after which I decided to switch to an office job.
hours wasted on endless journeys to sit in front of a screen.
Repetitive work, empty meetings, unpaid overtime without recognition.
Time given away to a routine that slowly extinguished me.
A proper, stable life… and completely disconnected from who she was.
When my contract ended, I decided to take a different step.
Investing time in learning to do something with the only thing man possesses,
the hands, in knowing how to truly create.
That's how I got into crafts and these mirrors.
Today I work with glass, color, and patience.
I am the master of my time, my decisions, my mistakes and frustrations.
And I don't remember ever feeling so happy or so fulfilled.
Each piece takes hours, attention, and love.
And that love is evident in the final moment:
when the mirror is finished, flawless,
And a smile appears that cannot be faked.
This is not just what I do.
It's the way I've found to live better.
